Listening Test Instructions
You will listen to six types of recordings: conversations, news items, a discussion, and viewpoints. Each recording plays only once. Questions appear after the audio ends, one at a time, with a time limit per question. A short unscored practice question comes first, just like the real exam.
Audio is read aloud by your device's built-in voices, with a different voice for each speaker. Put on headphones, find a quiet spot, and treat it like test day.
The official Listening section runs 46–55 minutes because real test forms also include unscored research items mixed invisibly into the section. Every question here counts, so a sitting is a little shorter.
Your browser doesn't support speech playback, so transcripts will be shown on screen for a limited time instead. Read them once, then answer.
